Paulée Grand Cru Burgundy Dinner (3rd edition)

On Thursday March 12th, Origo Club will be hosting a ‘La Paulée’-style dinner, with all the accompanying cheering, singing, sharing, and celebrating. For the third time in Vancouver, fellow connoisseurs and Burgundian enthusiasts will be invited to share two bottles or a magnum of their prized Burgundian Grand Cru or Champagne with the table. This event is meant to celebrate generosity, conviviality, and joie de vivre. It is a unique and perfect occasion to pull from your private collection the absolute best of Burgundian and Champagne wines. The event is $300/person for the food only and includes taxes, gratuities and a taxi ride home. Event starts at 6h30pm.

The event finds its inspiration in the traditional French ‘La Paulée de Meursault’ celebration that dates back to the 1920s and would see vignerons, cellar and vineyard workers and the local community gather together to mark the end of the grape harvest with a banquet where winemakers would showcase —and share —their best bottles to compete for Burgundian bragging rights.
